IMBER has adopted the Directory Interchange Format (DIF) as a discovery metadata standard.
The big advantage in using DIF is that records can be easily created and managed through NASA's Global Change Master Directory (GCMD).
Creating your DIF will take no more than 20 minutes and you will gain lots of benefits!
