IMBER/GLOBEC Transition Task Team (TTT): It has been agreed to host the first meeting of this group from 30 July to 1 August 2008 (3 days), at the University of Reading, UK. The GLOBEC IPO is assisting John Field, Chair of the group, in the organisation of the first meeting. The IMBER IPO will lead the organisation of the second meeting.
Call for Session: The biennial ASLO Aquatic Sciences Meeting, an international gathering of more than 2000 aquatic scientists, will be held at the Acropolis in Nice, France, 25-31 January 2009. IMBER SSC member JP Gattuso is co-organiser.
