The 15th Biennial Challenger Conference for Marine Science on "OCEAN CHALLENGES IN THE 21ST CENTURY" will be hosted at the University of East Anglia, Norwich 3-6 September 2012.

SCOR travel grants: 

The Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR) has approved up to 3 bursaries for participation of individualsfrom developing countries and countries with economies in transition (http://www.scorint.org/Eligible_Countries.pdf) in the 15th Biennial Challenger Conference for Marine Science. This travel support is possible through a grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation to SCOR.

Applications should include a letter detailing why participation is particularly relevant, a 2 page curriculum vitae, anda 250 word abstract (see instructions and session themes here https://lred.uea.ac.uk/web/challenger-2012/registration-and-abstract-submission).
