| The 6th IMBER Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) Meeting was held in Paris (France) on 2-5 June 2009. Minutes of the meeting will be available soon. The first IMBER/SOLAS French Meeting was held on 22-23 June 2009 in Paris (France). The purpose was to present the IMBER and SOLAS programmes to the French marine science community and to highlight potential collaborations. 60 scientists attended this successful meeting. Some of the presentations are available at http://www.imber.info/IMBER_SOLAS_Programme.html. The SOCAT dataset now contains over 2,100 cruises from 1968-2007.
