Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) call for author nominations.
The IPCC is seeking experts to act as coordinating lead authors, lead authors or review editors for its Fifth Assessment Report (AR5). Read more about AR5.
Suggestions for nominations can be made either through IGBP (contact owen.gaffney@igbp.kva.se) or via IPCC National Focal Points (contact IPCC-Sec@wmo.int to find out who these are).

The Pelagic Fisheries Research Program (PFRP) sponsors research on pelagic fisheries to improve our understanding of pelagic ecosystems, and to provide the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council (WPRFMC) with scientific information to support development of optimal management policies for fisheries for tunas and billfish in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

ESF Call for Outline Proposals for Collaborative Research Projects (CRPs): European Trans-Atlantic Coral Ecosystem Study (EuroTRACES).
EuroTRACES is aiming to attract the wider marine science community, including many who have not previously worked with cold-water corals, as well as experts of climate change. Scientific communities from the European Consortium of Ocean Research Drilling (ECORD), and the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP), might find EuroTRACES an ideal platform to cooperate with other scientific communities involved in marine science.
