  • Ocean Acidification International Coordination Centre
Prince Albert II of Monaco announced the launch of a new international centre to coordinate ocean acidification on the final day of the Third Ocean in a High CO2 World conference, Monterey, California, USA. The centre is based at the International Atomic Energy Agency Environment Laboratories in Monaco and will help to coordinate international research and link science and policy. The SOLAS-IMBER Ocean Acidification working group was instrumental in getting this off the ground.
